Art News

The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will be offering a bachelor of arts in art starting in the fall of 2008. Each year, the college's art program will provide opportunities for students to showcase their talent through gallery exhibits of their work, including their paintings, photographs, drawings, graphic art, ceramic creations, and pottery. These exhibits will give students the chance to go through the process of creating original art, preparing artist statements, and  participating in the process of displaying their work for public viewing. Students in the art program will have access to the college’s state-of-the-art visual arts facilities, including graphic design labs, art studios, and ceramic and pottery classrooms.
