Description
Nurses are involved in most areas of health care. The NSU bachelor’s of science in nursing prepares students to become primary providers of patient care in hospitals, private medical practices, nursing homes, public health agencies, and other settings.
Requirements
The Dual Admission Program in nursing is restricted to entering freshman. Candidates must have two letters of recommendation, one from a teacher and one from an academic professional. An interview is required for admissions. Candidates must have a 3.0 high school GPA with a minimum of 450 verbal and 450 math scores on SAT (minimum combined score of 950) or 19 on ACT. High school level course work required with a grade of “C” or better: 2 years combined biology and chemistry; 3 years mathematics including Algebra II; and 4 years English.
In addition to an undergraduate studies application, a dual admissions application must be submitted along with two letters of recommendation, one from a teacher and one from an academic professional. An interview is required.
