Digressions Magazine

Digressions is the student-run literary magazine sponsored by the Division of Humanities. Students are encouraged to submit original works of poetry, short fiction, artwork and photography for consideration in the magazine, which is published yearly in the winter semester.

English Minor

The English minor provides a broad overview of American, British, and world literatures and reinforces effective writing and analytical skills. Combined with any major program of study, the English minor offers students an opportunity to improve their critical thinking and writing, a plus for any profession, and also widens students’ perspectives about literary texts of the world from antiquity to the present.

English Minor Requirements (15 credits)

Students must complete 15 credits in any literature (LITR) courses, 9 credits of which must be at the 3000/4000 level.
