Undergraduate Commencement

Graduating Student

On Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will hold the 2009 Undergraduate Commencement Exercise. In the event of a facility scheduling conflict at the Bank Atlantic Center, the alternative date is Sunday, May 10.

Commencement recognizes and celebrates undergraduate students' successful completion of their academic programs. Participation in commencement does not guarantee that a student has graduated, nor is it a graduation requirement. However, many students—as well as their families and friends—participate in the ceremony as a rite of passage that commemorates the admirable achievement of attaining a college degree.
