Digressions Magazine

Digressions is the student-run literary magazine sponsored by the Division of Humanities. Students are encouraged to submit original works of poetry, short fiction, artwork and photography for consideration in the magazine, which is published yearly in the winter semester.

Performing and Visual Arts

The Division of Humanities in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences presents theatre, dance, music, and other artistic productions to complement academic majors and courses.

Folklore and Mythology Minor

The folklore and mythology minor provides students with an overview of the ways that various artistic features of a culture tell the story of where it has been and where it is going. The folklore and mythology minor deepens students' understanding of how a culture's storytelling contributes to its evolution.

Folklore and Mythology Minor Requirements (15 credits)
Students must complete 15 credits from the following list, nine credits of which must be at the 3000/4000 level:
