Distinguished Speakers Series

The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences brings prominent leaders from various fields to campus through the Distinguished Speakers Series. Special supporting events often occur in conjunction with these visits.

Performing and Visual Arts

The Division of Humanities in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences presents theatre, dance, music, and other artistic productions to complement academic majors and courses.

The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Student Newsletter informs students of important semester dates, college services, scholarship opportunities, and noteworthy events.

Office of Academic Services

Testing Services

Testing Services in the Office of Academic Services administers challenge exams for placement out of courses in elementary algebra, college-level mathematics, writing, chemistry, and technology. Testing Services also provides faculty make-up exams, proctoring services, and standardized tests, and serves as an information resource for many other exams. All exams are by appointment only. Contact Testing Services for specific dates or appointments. Students must contact their academic advisor before making appointments to take any CLEP, DSST, NYU Foreign Language Proficiency, or TECH 1110 testouts.

  • Testing is administered by appointment only. Walk-ins are not allowed.
  • A valid photo ID is required (NSU student ID, driver's license, or passport).
