Testing Services Testing Services in the Office of Academic Services administers challenge exams for placement out of courses in elementary algebra, college-level mathematics, writing, chemistry, and technology. Testing Services also provides faculty make-up exams, proctoring services, and standardized tests, and serves as an information resource for many other exams. All exams are by appointment only. Contact Testing Services for specific dates or appointments. Students must contact their academic advisor before making appointments to take any CLEP, DSST, NYU Foreign Language Proficiency, or TECH 1110 testouts.
